As all our candles are handmade, each Jontaado XL is unique and some minor imperfections may occur, but we are proud to represent this new class of Senegalese artisans in luxury and #madeinsenegal candles.

We recommend using it for ornamental purposes as its burning time is very short ( maximum 45 minutes ).

If you still want to light it, we suggest placing it on a surface safe from furniture or potentially flammable objects.

FOR EPHEMERAL CANDLES:
Place your candles on a tray when burning them. Place your candle on a flat surface the entire time it is burning. Trim your wick the first time you light it, and before each time you light it. For a proper candle flame, let it burn for about 2 hours. Keep candles away from children and pets.
FOR CLASSIC CANDLES:
The first burn of a candle should be long enough for the entire top layer of wax to become liquid. This will ensure an even burn for each lighting. Avoid burning candles for more than 3 hours at a time and never burn a candle with less than 1cm of wax at the base. For optimal combustion, trim the wicks to 1cm before each lighting to prevent smoke. Cover the candle once the wax has completely cooled to keep it fresh and dust-free.
